The new Vogue cover featuring Lady Gaga had its official unveiling today, but most of us have already seen it, thanks to a little leak earlier in the week by the pop sensation herself.
Which leaves us with what’s inside the mag’s pages.
While the profile piece covers the usual fare—her music, her unique sense of style, her “little monsters”—it also reveals that, even with all the fame and fortune, Gaga is still, in many ways, the girl formerly known as Stefani Germanotta.
“Funnily enough, I still live in the same apartment, hang out with the same friends, drink at the same bars, and I dance in the same studios with the same dancers,” says the meat dress-loving New York City native. “Really, nothing has changed.”
In fact, Gaga insists the same holds true when it comes to her parents and her relationship with them.
“Nothing has changed since I have become a star,” she points out. “I am a real family girl. When it comes to love and loyalty, I am very old-fashioned. I am quite down-to-earth for such an eccentric person.”
And since a lot of that eccentricity has obviously rubbed off on plenty of her fans, E! has decided to team up with Guiness World Records to attempt to set the record for the largest gathering of Lady Gaga impersonators at one time. It will air during E!’s Live Countdown Show at this weekend’s Grammy Awards.
Of course, all those impersonators will no doubt be even more inspired to get dressed up after hearing Lady Gaga’s new single “Born This Way,” which is scheduled to be released worldwide tomorrow.
Omaha, NE Visitors Bureau is giving away two tickets to the Lady Gaga concert in March (at the Qwest Center in Omaha and the seats are Section 121, Row 2). The contest information is at: http://www.facebook.com/visitomaha.

Lady Gaga fans love the star’s music and fashion sense, and now they can get their fix of both! The House of Mugler, which retained the boundary-pushing pop star as its musical director for its Paris menswear presentation on Wednesday, has released a short film combining footage from the runway with a remixed version of a new track from Gaga’s hotly anticipated new album, Born This Way.
How did the singer get hooked up with Thierry Mugler’s line? The brand’s new creative director, Nicolas Formichetti, is her personal stylist! “I love him, my friend the genius, my collaborator, more than any piece of clothing or closet I possess,” she gushed of the designer in a statement. “But don’t tell him I said that…He picked them all out!” Find out more on Formichetti’s debut show and the making of the short film at stylelist.com.
The sweepstakes is a scavenger hunt; players begin at http://www.facebook.com/hpplay and then are led on a thrilling hunt around the internet for clues. Once the three clues are discovered, players guess the answer and then submit it through email for a chance to win a different set of prizes each week.

Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga take charity work seriously, and they’re going offline to prove it.
Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Usher and other celebrities have joined a campaign called Digital Life Sacrifice that’s part of Keys’ charity, Keep a Child Alive. The entertainers plan to sign off of social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter on Tuesday, which is World AIDS Day. They will sign back on when the charity raises $1 million.
The campaign also features Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Kim Kardashian, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams and Swizz Beatz. They have filmed “last tweet and testament” videos and will appear in ads showing them in coffins to represent what the campaign calls their digital deaths.

Flamboyant pop icons Cher and Lady Gaga are planning to collaborate for a duet song.
The pair had met for the first time at the MTV Video music awards awards ceremony in Los Angeles in September, when Cher presented Gaga with the Video of the Year award and sources say they became firm friends immediately, reports dailystar.co.uk.
“They are now like mother and daughter. They both take their outlandish fashion sense dead seriously, both have a sense of humour about themselves, and they are both staunch gay rights activists,” a source said.
“The two singers are even planning to hit the studio together. They have talked about performing in a concert together and perhaps even recording a duet,” the source added.
The pop star, nominated for a record-setting 13 trophies at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, walked off with three, including best female video, only minutes into the live telecast.
She wasn’t walking too quickly though, thanks to some sky-high booties and her characteristically over-the-top Alexander McQueen ensemble and feathery mohawk headpiece.
But when she did make it to the stage, Gaga, close to tears, praised her fans. “It’s such a dream come true to be here tonight,” she said, as she picked up the award for her “Bad Romance” video.
Gaga got a lively welcome from show host Chelsea Handler, who poked fun of the pop star’s penchant for outrageous outfits. Taking the stage to “Bad Romance” in a tattered, glittery skirt and face-obscuring hat that resembled an over-sized house, Handler earned laughs as she skewered celebrities in her monologue.
